The world can be overwhelmingly tempting. There are times when we want to take the easy path to success. When we're faced with a difficult situation, we hope we can lift a magic wand, and with just that, everything will go in our favor. But the sad truth is life isn't a fairytale. While it's nice to daydream about many amazing things, the reality is you have to go out there and work. You have to work hard so you can pay your bills. However, the long-term repercussions of engaging in these things far outweigh the short-term benefits you can get. Given that, you must be able to draw the line between what's good and what's evil.

You have to promise yourself never to cross that line, no matter what. Whether it's corruption or dishonesty, your goal is to make sure that you know your core values and principles. Success isn't defined by how rich you are. Success is about the number of people whose lives you've touched because of your values and principles.

Life can be confusing, but you have to learn how to listen to your conscience and resist all temptations. In the end, you'll reap the benefits of standing your ground, even if it means standing alone.
